Automated Robotic Grinding, Polishing & Inspection System

Automated Robotic Grinding, Polishing & Inspection System

Specifications
Details

The Automated Robotic Grinding, Polishing & Inspection System is an advanced automation solution designed to automate workpiece handling across grinding, polishing, and inspection processes. The system integrates an industrial robot with input and output tray modules, buffer handling, grinding, polishing, and inspection stations to create a smooth and efficient production flow.
Designed for automated manufacturing environments, the system reduces manual handling, improves process consistency, and supports continuous production with minimal operator intervention.

Product Description
Our Automated Robotic Grinding, Polishing & Inspection System is engineered to automate the transfer and handling of workpieces throughout multiple processing stages. Workpieces are manually loaded into the input tray before the automatic operation begins, while the robotic system manages workpiece movement throughout the production process.
The system integrates a KUKA KR20 R1820-2E industrial robot, input and output tray modules, buffer station, grinding machine, polishing machine, and inspection station into a single automated platform.
Upon completion of the automated process, finished workpieces are transferred to the output tray station for manual unloading by the operator.

Machine Functionality
  • Manual loading of workpieces into the input tray
  • Automatic workpiece handling using an industrial robot
  • Automatic transfer between processing stations
  • Automated grinding process
